The money part

What are you actually paying to get paid?

Don't judge your payments by one advertised rate. Processing, per-transaction charges, software and hardware all add up. We'll help you see the whole picture, and whether traditional pricing or a compliant dual-pricing program makes sense for you.

The question we hear most

Is dual pricing legal? Yes.

Dual pricing means showing two prices, one for cash and one for card, so the customers who choose to pay by card cover the card cost instead of you.

Done the right way, it's allowed here in Tennessee. The key is being upfront, so customers see both prices before they pay. Chris sets it up so it's clear, compliant and easy for your customers to understand.

Done the right way
  • Both prices shown clearly, before anyone pays
  • Signs at the door and the register
  • Receipts that follow card brand rules
  • Set up and checked by Chris, so you stay compliant
Local support isn't a footnote

When something goes wrong, who do you call?

Payments are easy when everything works. The real difference shows up when it doesn't. NeighborlyPay gives you somebody who knows your business, knows your setup, and can get the right people involved.

"What if your payments guy actually knew your name?"

Good technology matters. Having someone you can reach matters more than most businesses realize, right up until they need it.

About Chris

Local isn't a marketing strategy. It's home.

I'm Chris Fischer, founder of NeighborlyPay. I live in Hendersonville with my wife and daughter. The businesses I work with aren't just accounts to me. They're the restaurants we eat at, the shops we stop into, and the owners I run into around town.

I started NeighborlyPay because the payments industry has earned its reputation: confusing pricing, endless sales pitches, 800 numbers, and reps who are everywhere until the paperwork is signed, then nowhere when something goes wrong.

I wanted to do it differently.

There isn't one "best" payment system for every business, so I work with several. My job is to understand how your business actually runs, find the right fit, explain it without the jargon, and be there when you need help.

You'll find me at Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Sumner events, because I like being part of the business community here. I want NeighborlyPay to grow the way the best local businesses do: through relationships, reputation, and taking care of people.

I'm not trying to be your payment processor. I want to be your payments guy.

Someone local. Someone you trust. Someone who answers the phone. That's why I called it NeighborlyPay.

  • Local.I live here.
  • Independent.I find the right fit.
  • Available.I stick around after the sale.

Know a business owner who's fed up with their payments? I'd be grateful for the introduction. Send them my way
