Distributor catalogs

Your distributors, already connected.

Pull products, pricing and stock from the distributors you already buy from, without retyping a catalog.

  • Davidson's
  • Lipsey's
  • RSR Group
  • Sports South
  • Zanders
  • Crow Shooting Supply
  • Chattanooga
  • Kroll
  • Bill Hicks

Some catalogs need your own account with that distributor.

The hardware

Built for the counter and the gun show.

Defender runs on its own hardware, because the customer-facing screen handles electronic 4473s, sign-ups and live receipts. Tap a suite to see more.

A Series Suite

The main counter station for owners and managers: checkout plus back office, shipping and inventory on one Windows machine.

  • Main POS and customer-facing touchscreen
  • Wireless 2D scanner and receipt printer
  • Cash drawer, keyboard and mouse

M Series Suite

A rugged mobile POS for the sales floor, inventory counts and pop-ups like gun shows. Add a card terminal to take payments anywhere.

  • Android tablet in a protective case
  • Handheld 2D scanner
  • Works alongside an A Series station
Your store, online too

An online store that stays in sync with the counter.

Every Defender setup comes with a branded, mobile-friendly website that shares products, customers and orders with your POS.

  • Inventory and pricing update online automatically
  • Customers can book classes and check range availability
  • Gift cards, loyalty and store credit work in store and online
  • Coupons, featured products and promotions you control

Good to know

Straight answers before you switch.

How long does setup take?
Usually 2 to 3 weeks for a new store. Switching an existing store takes about 3 weeks to 2 months, depending on how much data is moving over. The Defender team helps migrate your bound book.
Can I run it on the computer I already have?
No. Defender runs on its own hardware so the customer screen can handle electronic 4473s, sign-ups and live receipts. Hardware financing is available.
What do I need for FFL compliance?
If you sell firearms, you'll need a FastBound account. That's what powers the electronic 4473, the A&D bound book and ATF compliance inside Defender.
Do I need a new card processing account?
Usually, yes, because features like cash discount and layaways are built into the payments side. That's where Chris comes in: he sets up your processing, explains the costs plainly and stays your contact afterward.
I sell archery and sporting goods too. Does that work?
Yes. Firearms, ammo, archery and general sporting goods can all run through the same system.
What if the internet goes down?
Defender has offline features to keep you selling, though it's built to run online. A hotspot is a good backup.

The neighborly part

A gun shop POS, with a payments person who picks up.

Defender comes through our partner Full Stack Payments. Chris handles the part most gun shops dread: the processing account, cash discount setup and what it all really costs.
